We were invited down to Tucks Ridge in the beautiful Red Hill region to experience their lunch menu.
Sitting outside under the heated and sheltered pergola, we were treated to a glass of Tucks Ridge own 2016 estate Pinot noir.
This lovely light red went well with some of the dishes from their lunch menu.
A bowl of Marinated Olives, yummy Caraway seasoned house bread with crispy crusts, and the pates from the Meats and pickles were fantastic.
For mains we had the delicious Applewood smoked salmon on a lovely bed of celeriac remoulade, and the oh so amazing Roasted half chicken with a black garlic purée, and sides of a Green leaf salad, and Smoked Kipfler potatoes.
Our desserts were some lovely scoops of Gelato. The flavours were vanilla, choc cherry, lemon and pear n pinot. All were delish but our fave was the pear n pinot. Such a lovely and refreshing flavour. We also indulged in the Roasted white chocolate parfait. A divine dessert with beautiful flavours for the palate.
After lunch, we went for a walk around the winery and took some wonderful photos.
Overall we had a great experience at Tucks Ridge, with fabulous food, lovely wine, and great service.
