Robert Gordon Kitchen

We were invited along to the Robert Gordon kitchen for brunch, behind the scenes tour, and to paint our own plate and mug.

Ordering some essential morning coffees before browsing the menu was a must.

Deciding on Poached Pear Brûlée, Eggs Gordon Benedict, Big Vegetarian breakfast, Waffles, and the Thai Salad was a great cross-section of tasty dishes the kitchen has to offer.

All these dishes were fantastic, with great flavours and presentation. A special mention for the Big Vegetarian breakfast, those potato hash croquettes were made for dipping into the Honest Eggs vibrant yolks! Oh so yum!

The “behind the scenes” tour was awesome. Its great to see so much love and passion come through in the final products. Thank you, Kate, for such an informative insight of the Robert Gordon Factory.

To round off our visit we got to try our hand at painting a plate and mug. This is open to everyone to experience, so next time you visit, give it a go! Aprons are provided. We followed the “less is more” when creating something unique and individual, which was then labelled and placed in the queue for firing next time the kiln is turned on.

A massive thank you to all at Robert Gordon Kitchen and Pottery for making our visit such a memorable one.

We experienced our brunch and tour as guests, and all of our opinions are genuine and are based on our experience at the time of our visit.
