I hope you had a fantastic Christmas day and celebrated a wonderful New Years.

My Christmas was enjoyed with family and eating lots of yummy food. Our New Years Day was spent at home watching a movie then catching some of the fireworks that were showing on the tv.

I am still in the school holidays and enjoying them immensely. We have a couple of movies to go see at the cinemas and maybe head down to the beach when the weather fines up.

I just wanted to pop in and say hi. With the kids still at home, I won’t be around here much but I will step in from time to time. I have a post to share with you today about some yummy muesli, and it includes a great giveaway!

I have been absent from blogging for a while (nearly 3 mths). I needed some time off to just to be with family and work out what I wanted to do with my blog. I felt like my blog wasn’t going anywhere so I did lots of thinking and decided that I needed to move from blogger and set up my blog with WordPress. To take my blog to where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do with my blog I needed to change.

I have a domain name and web hosting now. Finding all this new and interesting information about what you can do with a blog and how far you can take it, it’s been amazing. I have really enjoyed learning about all this and I’m still learning.

I am starting up my own business from home, making handmade greeting cards and children’s craft kids. Currently I am doing an e-course with Jess from Create & Thrive. The course runs for 30 days, Jess shows you how to set up a shop online and how to grow your business whether you are starting from the beginning or are already established. I am up to Day 4 and so far so good. I am really enjoying it. Unfortunately registering for her set up shop e-course has closed but if you are interested in doing this course you can subscribe to her email updates and Jess will notify you when the course runs again.

It’s good to be back and I look forward to sharing with you what I love to do. There will be great recipes, seeing whats in my veggie garden, showing you my handmade products from my business and my love for vintage items that I collect. Oh, I have also started to get into photography. My hubby bought me a DSLR camera for christmas. Love using it and I am learning all the time how to use the camera.

P.S My new blog header is designed by my two older children. They are both very talented. I am a very proud mum!
